If you cant find what you’re after please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Under Support at Home, government funding is allocated based on eight classifications, each reflecting a different level of support needs. Your classification is determined through an individualised assessment and helps determine how much funding is available to support you.
While your services are tailored to your personal goals and preferences, your funding level is guided by the classification you’ve been assessed under.
| Classification level | Type of care | Allocated funding |
|---|---|---|
| Classification 1 | Basic Support | $10,731.00 per year |
| Classification 2 | Low Care Needs | $16,034 per year |
| Classification 3 | Moderate Care Needs | $21,966 per year |
| Classification 4 | Increasing Care Needs | $29,696 per year |
| Classification 5 | Intermediate Care Needs | $39,697 per year |
| Classification 6 | Clinical and Personal Care | $48,114 per year |
| Classification 7 | High Care Needs | $58,148 per year |
| Classification 8 | Complex or Comprehensive Support | $78,106 per year |
In addition to your core classification budget, you may be eligible for extra funding to support more specific needs:
Short-term, goal-oriented care designed to help you regain function and independence after an injury, illness, or hospital stay.
Provides compassionate support for individuals with life-limiting conditions, helping manage care needs and comfort at home during end-of-life.
Offers funding for equipment, devices, or home modifications that improve safety, accessibility, and independence in your home.
