Support at Home funding
Your level of need
You may have noticed a change in your ability to do everyday tasks or you may have had a recent hospital admission and need some help around the house.Your age
You’ll need to be 65 years or older (50 years or older for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people).Your living environment
You must still be living at home to be eligible for Support at Home funding.Check your eligibility

What are the fees?
Understanding yourcontribution
Under the Support at Home program, you may be required to pay a contribution toward the cost of your services. The amount you pay depends on two main factors:
- The type of services you receive
- Your individual financial situation, determined through an income assessment
The Government provides funding to help cover your support needs, but you may be asked to contribute to the cost, especially for certain service categories. These contributions ensure the program remains sustainable and fair for everyone accessing support.
