Understanding Home Care Packages
More support, more choice with a Home Care Package
Home Care Package funding is designed for people who need a little bit more support around their home. There are four levels of packages, you will be assigned a package level based on your level of need.
Once customers are assigned a package they can can select any Home Care Provider they like within Australia based on their preferences. Once a provider is selected, customers can access a wide range of helpful services.

Home Care Package customers are often asked to make a financial contribution to their care and that is determined through their Income Tested Fee assessment. However, there is no Income Tested Fee for CHSP customers.
